UCEEF Donates 2000 Pieces of Surgical Face Masks to Morristown Memorial Hospital

The COVID-19 outbreak is developing rapidly in the United States and as of March 25, 2020, over 60,000 people have tested positive for COVID-19. The State of New Jersey has over 4,400 confirmed cases with 62 deaths. Because of the high caseload, the medical system has been confronted with a shortage of medical protective supplies. This Wednesday, the U.S.-China Environmental Education Foundation (UCEEF), a 501 (c) (3) Corporation whose headquarters is located in New Jersey, donated 2,000 pieces of ASTM Level 2 surgical face masks to the Morristown Memorial Hospital.

UCEEF (www.uceef.org) was incorporated in January of 2013 with the purpose of promoting environmental education, both in the US and China.  COVID-19 broke out as a pandemic challenge that people around the world are facing in the age of globalization.  The UCEEF Team will collaborate with communities to fight COVID-19 and save lives.

Since COVID-19 broke out in January, the UCEEF team has summarized and posted information about the epidemic, protective recommendations, and other related information to draw people’s attention and remind communities about self-protection.
