The AMS Hollowstem Auger Kit allows the user to take samples in collapsing soils using hollowstem augers to case the hole. The AMS Hollowstem Auger Kit can have sections added for deeper sampling. There is an optional Soil Recovery Probe for use with the AMS Hollowstem Auger Kit that allows the collection of soil in a plastic liner. The AMS Hollowstem Auger Kit without Drill 209.22 includes one starting auger with Tip and Plug, one auger extension with inner rod, one adapter cap, one splined or SDS MAX drill adapter, one hollowstem soil probe, one slide hammer, two crescent wrenches, and a hard plastic carrying case for easy transport and storage.
